Hey, I’m Marissa, a stay-at-home mama to five wild, wonderful kiddos and wife to the city’s best tattoo artist (seriously, he’s amazing). Life in our house is loud, full of love, chaos, creativity… and honestly, that’s where my love for photography really found its heart.

I’ve always been drawn to capturing moments for other people. In the beginning, I was all about the editorial vibe—styled shoots, cool concepts, carefully curated frames. But as time passed, I found myself falling in love with something even more powerful: the raw, in-between, blink-and-you-miss-it kind of moments. The ones that aren’t planned or posed, but felt.

Getting our own family photos done showed me just how awkward and unnatural it can feel to pose perfectly in front of a camera—especially when you’re trying to wrangle kids or just be yourself. That experience lit a spark in me. I wanted to offer something different: sessions that feel like you. Effortless, relaxed, full of connection and emotion. A space where you don’t have to overthink a thing—just show up, be present, and let the magic unfold.

This work means the world to me. I pour my heart into every session, and my hope is that when you choose me as your photographer, you walk away with more than just beautiful images—you leave with moments frozen in time, and an experience that felt as good as it looks.
